The 11th Annual Kevin Ebbert Memorial Run was so much fun and quite the challenge and a great way to honor the life of a young man whose life was lost during active duty. Isaiah, Alane and I ran the 2 mile, while my Dad and Bethannie ran 6 miles. We all got lost on the trails except for Isaiah Isaiah placed 7th in the 2 mile and Bethannie was the youngest in the 6 mile group!!

 I can't believe my first born is

14 years old today!

It honestly feels surreal. What an amazing kid he is. Ive just been reflecting on the first year of his life, being in that earthquake and having no place to live in a foreign country where I knew maybe 3 people, we had no house yet, Manny was pulled out to sea so it was just me and Isaiah in a room hiding from radiation. I was terrified honestly but he wasn’t, he was such a good baby who rarely ever cried and sang all the time He is the music in my life, he’s made me a better person, a gift from God and it has honestly been such an honor and privilege to raise him and be his mom. I love you son
