We decided to fire up and try to resurrect a big cousin's party this Saturday night. For those with no plans, or late plans on NYE, we are going to try to get all cousins, aunts and uncles to come over for New Year's Eve pizza and Bocce party at 6pm. Kinda crazy. Indoor and outdoor. Way too cold for outdoor party. Your whole family is invited, the more the merrier. Just need a head count by Friday evening. Spread the word please. Love, Marianne

Judith Margaret Biancalana, wife of Mario Joseph Biancalana (April 9, 1920-December 7, 1989), sister to Eileen Shorts (1946-2012) and daughter of Joseph Baldassare, passed away peacefully Monday, December 26, 2016 in Burlingame, California where she's lived for almost 60 years. Judy, as she was known to all, is survived by her daughters Diane Dean and Debra DeMera, son Mario Biancalana, her sons-in-law Gary DeMera and Robert Dean, daughter-in-law Laura Biancalana, and the true loves of her life, her 8 grandchildren, Samantha, Ashleigh, Mario, Dominic, Jessica, Daniella, Lucia and Joseph. She was an employee of Our Lady of Angels school for more than 33 years, and leaves behind countless friends and loved ones. She was a rabid sports fan, loving her Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates, as well as San Francisco Giants, 49ers, and Golden State Warriors, finding particular joy in the play and class of Stephen Curry. Those who knew her know that she was one of a kind. A memorial mass will be held Monday, January 2, at Our Lady of Angels Church, 1721 Hillside Drive, Burlingame, at 11:00am. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am in the church. Internment will follow at the Italian Cemetery in Colma. Finally, a reception will be held at Dominic's at Poplar Creek in San Mateo, beginning at 1:30pm. I lieu of flowers, please send a donation in Judith's name to the Capuchin Retirement Fund, 1345 Cortez Avenue, Burlingame, California, 94010.
Keep the family in your prayers!
