And some of you may have heard about Julie’s son, Ryan, being diagnosed with lymphoma, a cancer of the lymph system. A lump suddenly appeared on his side and was biopsied before he came home for the break. Three days ago he found out it was lymphoma and they could get him an appointment at Stanford on January 4. Luckily, through Ryan’s connections on the football team they were able to get an appointment with one of the top doctors at UCLA the next day. He was able to explain Ryan’s early results without having to wait two weeks. It is lymphoma but it is a type that responds well to chemotherapy. He’ll be undergoing more tests and will have five months of chemo. Even though this is very serious, there is much hope for a positive outcome.
Please continue your prayers for the family and especially, these two. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. We will and we’ll now have Ryan with us tomorrow instead of him being in Texas practicing for the Alamo Bowl.
Love to all! Ann Ryan

WRENWOOD
I was driving down Fruit the other day and thought good first step was to just drive by.
Oh Dear, Paul Simonich (My mom's sister Mary Lou's son. He is deaf.)
Anyway he bought Wrenwood and spend a lot of time on Wrenwood when were young and also Holidays. Well he said, Hi come in. I said I might cry. He said please take off your shoes. I thought that was a good sign. I walked in the entry and it had a beautiful oriental rug. I walked through the house and it looked so nice. Very nice furniture. My parents would be proud looking down.
